2026-05-28

Represented by Daniel Röwenstrunk the Edirom Online Reloaded project presented their work on "Bibliographic Readiness of Digital Music Editions" at the Music Encoding Conference 2026 in Tokyo. As the annual meeting of the Music Encoding Initiative (MEI) community the conference brings together researchers, technologists, librarians, music scholars, and students interested in the digital representation of music from all over the world. The conference took place at Tokyo University of Science from Tuesday 26 until Friday 29 May, 2026.

The contribution focussed on the citability of digital music editions, basic recommendations, and presented a tool to facilitate basic citation and cataloguing of MEI-encoded editions.

Final versions of the conference abstracts will be made available at a later point in time.
